The Vestavia Hills Board of Education met on July 21, 2025.

During the meeting, the Board approved the monthly financial statement, consent items related to equipment disposal and field trips, and the school system’s new strategic plan. The Board also approved updates to the Board policy regarding the system’s mission, the supplement schedule for the 2025–26 school year, and the renewal of the supplement contract for the head football coach. Additional approvals included three licensing agreements and the facility rental fee schedule. The Board also reviewed the annual evaluations for the Chief School Financial Officer (CSFO) and the Superintendent.
The Superintendent provided an update on elementary enrollment and shared that, while rezoning is not being considered this year, the school system will continue to monitor enrollment data next spring to determine whether rezoning should be considered in the future.
